One of my most ambitious projects, in 1976 I bought a color TV kit from my cousin who got it from the GI education plan. It was a 19" color TV with a lot of tubes and all point to point wiring except for the IF board. This was no Heathkit! It took me 40 hours to assemble and was alot of fun. Talking to a TV repair friend of mine, he had never seen one of these kits successfully put together and running. I used it for years without a cabinet.
